Approaching people to be in content for social media is awkward at first, but it gets easier. 

Just ask. The worst they can do is say "no thanks". Friends, family and regular customers are all great people to check in with to see who’s interested in a moment in the spotlight. 

Don’t assume. Don’t make sweeping assumptions that all of  your employees, consultants, customers or postal carriers are okay with being in content; some aren’t and feel too nervous to tell you.

Be clear about expectations. Once you find someone who is comfortable doing some modeling, be clear about what sort of actions and expectations you have from them. Will you need them to speak? Will their hands be the focal point? Will they be modeling in a video or a photograph? Communication to your model before, during and after is key to having a successful session!
